Puppy question

We had our beagle bred to another beagle (both pure bred parents). She had the puppies a week before Christmas but for some reason the pups don't resemble the parents. One of the pups is almost all black with the exception of white and a little brown on his face. The female has a little more white, but the same amount of brown on her face. Both parents had almost identical markings with a lot of brown. I want to see what yall think. I would think they should have more brown on them. Have yall ever seen a beagle without brown markings? I hope the neighbors dog didn't get ahold of her first. They have some kind of black long haired dog.
Sorry bout the pic quality- these are the only ones I have. We have a heating lamp in there which makes them have a brown tint, but the only brown is on their faces.

you can never tell I had a yellow lab that never threw a yellow pup....look at the parents of your dog and I bet one of them have similar markings.

I wish she would've had more. We worked out a deal with the breeder that he would get 1/2 the litter. He gets 1 and I'm gonna keep the other one. That's why I need to know if they're beagles or not because if they're not, he doesn't want it. I'll just tell him that they aren't so you can get one.

Those would be beagle pups! Have had at least 75 coming up and sometimes they just throw you off!

That's good to know. I was hoping they would be because the one I'm gonna keep I want to get her trained trailig blood. Her momma was pretty good without any training. I guess I just expected them to favor the parents a little more.
