    05 Jeff Gordon Nascar sells for 500,000.00 on Barrett-Jackson in Az.
    Thats one serious collector, dont those folks know were in a recession.

            Surely the car would not have the engine in it would it? If it did you would figure someone could copy their setups.

              Read somewhere at one time that they do have a motor in them but, not the racing motor due to just this reason. Also has something to do with nascar rules.

                You're probably right but a car from 05 is old news as far as copying anything.

                  I was just watching the one from Friday and Earnhardt's car only sold for $100,000, I was pretty shocked at the low number for it.
