Reason for asking

Wife laying in bed at our ranch, she's dreaming

Wakes up and thinks, what is that odd feeling in my ear

3 minutes later starts to panic and wakes me up

I can't see anything and she is freaking out

She get swimmers ear and I put 5 drops down there and she rolls
Her head over and blam this monster kissing bug flips out of the ear. Unbelievable the size of something coming out of the ear.

Took a whoops to get back to sleep

Ticks have 8 legs, "bugs/insects" have 6 legs and 3 body sections--head, thorax, and abdomen. Clearly a beetle of some sort.
