For me it's hard to understand why some people do it. At the end of the day, only they know what demons had enslaved their minds. For the terminally ill, I get it 100% and think that Dr. Jack Kevorkian had it right; physician assisted is the proper way to do it for them and their loved ones.

For the youth that loose hope or are never exposed to the wonders that exist for us to enjoy, it is obviously a sad affair. It's just as sad when the brave Warroiers that fight our battles and for the brotherhood that serve and protect loose the path. For all these, I which we as a society where doing more to help.

Several yrs ago I went through about 3 months of severe pain. I was only getting about 2-3 hrs sleep at night. Your mind starts to weird out.

I was finally able to get the correct treatment. But I'm telling you had it been 100 yrs ago and the surgery was not available I would have drank myself to death, OD'ed or ate a bullet.

Everyone has a breaking point and I hope you never go there.

This. Been close myself when I was suffering from repeated multi-day bouts of insomnia.

There is never the situation in which suicide is the answer IMHO.

I did a funeral of a suicide once...was a great guy suffering from mental illness and his new meds really did a number on him...not judging just what happened. I did the funeral of his dad 9 months later. Guy grieved himself to death over his son. Was really sad but i know they are both reunited now and for that i am thankful.

This life can really stink sometimes...prayers for all that the tradegy of death has effected.

If you are interested in knowing how to never have to experience it...shoot me a PM. I know a Guy.

I only have one close friend that killed himself. I always go back and for on if I think it’s selfish or not. On one hand, especially if they have kids I think it is because they now don’t have a parent and have to deal with that. Some twins I grew up with came home from school sophomore year to find their mom had killed herself in the kitchen. It really did a number one of them.

On the other hand I have never been in that place mentally so I have no idea how hard it must be

I’ve seen God use people on the deaths bed to do incredible things and been a light in a dark world. You are allowed to have your opinion as am I. And we can disagree, and that’s fine too. But I’ll go when God takes me, because that’s his perfect plan. In him I have hope

yes sir...... His plan is perfect and ours is not. We are not God.
...... Trust only in the Lord with all of your heart. And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him. and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Prov 3:5
