WOW that's a BUCK too!! He still got that tiger striping? I remember that thread. I think I posted to it too. We had some deer with that striping on our place in Southern Val Verde and Kinney counties.

He’s a good one. The split I was talking about is not on his left side shown, it’s on his right side, about 8-9inches. He does still have the faint tiger stripe, if i shoot him, I will get his back hide tanned. I have pics and will try and share.

Won’t be back after the big guy until next week. No luck this past week.

I think I have switched directions on a different buck. I call him tiger, I posted on him a few years ago cause he has a tiger striped coat on his back. This is him this year, I think he will push 160 as a main frame 8, with a split g2. He is 7 this year. [ATTACH]1022780[/ATTACH]

Are you going to hunt both of these bucks? There is no way I could personally stop hunting that big brow buck over that other buck, especially 2 weeks into a 3 month season

I 100% agree with this. No way I quit hunting that other buck. That’s what I enjoy the most is picking out one buck and not giving up til
I get him. I would put all my eggs in the 1st ones basket. Season just started anyway

I was going to shoot him. I convinced my good friend and land owner to shoot him now. We are not giving up on him, he will be the first one we kill before the tiger buck. We will get him and I’m going to video it.
