Without question, yes. But you have to be careful where you clean and process them relative to the DD.
Last season, I killed a monster buck at my place. Was only 1 year old, but had eaten several spoonfuls of DD, so roughly 220 lbs, 165 inches of horn. Anyhow, after I caped him out and had the meat quartered in the coolers, I put them in the same barn as our DD stash. Dang stuff reanimated him and the next morning he almost gored me when I opened the door.
