    Guys with new F250s

Has anyone had an auxilery diesel tank installed connect to/gravity flow type to fuel system? If so what brand and price range did you see?

I’ve only called one place so far but they wanted $2400 for a fuel tank tool box combo.

That's what I'm going to go with on my '15 F250 and put it under the toolbox. Putting a 26 gallon fuel tank in a diesel 3/4 ton truck is rediculous, c'mon Ford!

You can also look into Titan fuel tanks. They are factory replacement tanks

I have a 2018 F-350 that I just installed an auxiliary tank with the gravity feed kit. I bought the RDS 60 gallon toolbox/auxiliary tank combo from Northetn tool. The tank was ~$800, shipping was around $150, and the gravity kit was $60. I installed it myself (pretty simple) in 2hrs including cleanup. Just be careful and measure before you buy, the 17+ Super Duty’s have a slightly more narrow bed and many of the tanks no longer fit.

I put a Titan Travel Treker 50 gal auxiliary tank in the bed of mine. I installed it myself and I paid $850 and it came with the install kit (got a deal at the off road expo at TMS). Comes with its own pump and filter, easy install. We travel alot towing around 12-14k rv and it has made traveling so much more enjoyable. I was looking for fuel every 240 miles, now I don't start looking for fuel until 800-850 miles. Titan has the install videos on their website and they had great customer service when I called concerning which uplifter switch to use. An actual person answered the phone and immediately transferred me to a tech. I was very impressed with my experience with Titan. I also have a Undercover flex tonneau cover and it fits under the tonneau cover. If you would like some pics send me your number and Ill text some to you.

If you install an auxiliary tank, make sure there's nothing in it before you mount it and hook it up. I did that in '82 and made it to Ok City before it sputtered to a stop in rush hour traffic. Embarrassing to say the least. Some kind of cotton looking fiber was in the tank when I bought it new. Unhooked the fuel line and got it out, but all the while cars were rushing by just a few feet from my head. To say I was puckered would be an understatement !

My thoughts exactly! My 2018 now has a 34 gallon. I think the F350's have a 42 now.

Yours must be a short bed they did offer a 37.5 gal in 2015.

                    Fuel tank – 37.5-gallon capacity (F-250/F-350 158"

Why not just replace your factory fuel tank from Titan instead of taking up space in your bed.

My 2012 Ram has a 34’ish gallon tank (I’ve put over 36 in it before) and Titan has a replacement tank that is 56 gallons.

I have an 06 so not new but I do get an error when I gravity feed. Truck thinks the fuel sending unit is bad because it stays on full for so long. I just clear the code with my programmer. I also run it in the bed vs a replacement tank as it come in handy filling tractors at the ranch.

Transfer Flow has a 60 gallon replacement tank. Best thing I added. My 2012 1/2 tin had a 36 gallon tank. There was no way I was going to deal with a 26 gallon tank in my 2017 F250.
