How durable are they? Would you (do you) own one if you work outside or if you're not the kinda person who's known to really take it easy on a phone?

Not sure about how much abuse they would take....probably not much. The screen is glass. A buddy of mine dropped his and cracked the screen. I have been looking at this:

Looks like it would add bulk but I saw a video where a guy threw his iphone on a concrete floor and no damage was done.

Just invest in a good case. I have a rubber type $16 case on mine and then that fits into a nice Eddie Bauer belt case with a magnetic flap. I can carry it in my pocket or on the belt. Good screen protector is mandatory.

I will just say that i went through 6 cell phones in 2 months one time and i have had my Iphone for over a year now with no problems. Most durable phone i have ever had

Do you get good signal coverage with the IPhone compared to the other versions?

Thinking about upgrading today to either that or the Blackberry.

Also, is the 3G good enough or get the 16G?

I'm finding it to be very durable. The glass screen is much more scratch resistant than the blackberry.

Antlermax-3G is the network and 16G is the amount of memory on the phone.

Mine has survived me for 9 months, and i am also super hard on phones. I have a good case and screen protector.

yes my Iphone seems to get better signal than my slvr

i believe Iphones come in 8g and 16g

I love mine!!! I dropped it while up in a tree stand 20 ft up!!! Hit rocks too!! Thought for sure it was a gonner cause I do not use a case. Climbed down retreived it and continued to text my hunting buddy! The face is polycarbonate so its really hard stuff!!

It is the most durable phone that I have ever had!! I drop things all the time. I have dropped it a good 10 times. Once out of a tripod 30 ft off the ground.
I have had it since September 07. Still works like a charm

Had mine since last April, only thing I do for mine is put it in a foating waterproof case on my bass boat.
