On Wednesday, May 30, officers of the agency's Organized Crime Division stopped Reymundo Bustamante for allegedly speeding in a Pontiac SUV on Interstate 35. While the officers were speaking to Bustamante, 22, they believed he may be smuggling drugs.
K-9 Cuatro conducted a search of the vehicle and alerted officers to the possible drugs. Officers eventually found the methamphetamine hidden in the vehicle's gas tank and tires.
