camp site in DFW

My son is playing summer high school ball in DFW. Hotel cost are gonna kill us. I am looking for a place that I can bring my travel trailer and either leave for the summer at a monthly rate or just bring it back and forth each week. Any suggestions on a place to stay in North DFW?

check out Hickory Creek on Lewisville. We really like camping there--the one downside is there isn't sewer hookups..we have a tote so not a major deal for us

What part of town are the games?

They are all over DFW it seems. We don't know where until the week of the games. They could be at high schools around the area or at college fields

There are quite a few state parks around. Just kind of depends on where you need to be.

Lake Ray Roberts has a nice State Park.

Lake Lavon on the east side of town has campsites.

Cedar Hill is pretty centrally located.
