No. First year since 1999 I have not put in. I was very fortunate to draw 11 times from 1999 to 2017. Killed 3 bucks, two pretty good ones. I won't be here in Texas anymore. Good news is I will have pretty much my own private Hagerman in Iowa.

Sure hope not also, guess its possible with the news the state is taking over the draw next year, but that was just made public barely 2 months ago. Another thing I didn't consider they are not requiring your bowhunter ed validation when applying now, only if drawn and when you show up at the refuge, new change this year. That will result in more entries of guys who have not completed an IBEP course yet.
