Fence columns

What should 2x2x6ft stone or brick fence columns cost? I know I want the columns built right with plenty of concrete and steel in the ground so that they aren’t leaning in a few years. Not sure if we will do wood or iron fence in between.

Had a very similar cost quote for stone porch columns on my house.

$300 for the masonry labor + materials + the footings.

What about the column caps? Those can get up there depending on your selection.

Go around to some construction sites and see if you can find some brick/stone guys to do it on the side.

Go around to some construction sites and see if you can find some brick/stone guys to do it on the side.

I’ve come across a few names of guys who do it on the side and am basically leaning this way.
