Long Shot but starting to look for land.

This is probably a long shot, but the wife and I are looking to retire (her in the summer of 2019 and me possibly the end of 2019) and she and I are looking at moving back to the Bell County area, Temple area to be more exact, to be around our aging parents, my Mom and her Dad. We want to find something that is not in a subdivision or an HOA and probably less than 5 acres unless it is an unbelievable property and to good to pass up. No houses as we want to build a Barndo or possibly a log cabin.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated or any Realtors to contact would also be appreciated. Send me an email or PM.

    Thanks

I started looking around again and they sure aint much out there. I am sure as the economy gets stronger the land prices will get higher.

I tried to buy a small patch of 39 acres near Weesatche about two months ago. Aint got nothing on it except some old catch pens, old dirt tank and white brush. Looked like it was festered up with hogs, but thought it would make a nice bow hunting spot and a little investment. They would not come off any mineral rights, I just could not justify the price. Even 10% minerals might have done the deal.
