Continue extending arms until shovel slams itself through the skull. Repeat as necessary.

It's some species of water snake, hard to tell which based on how dark it is, but the face is the government away.

I like harmless snakes, but I would kill that one.
I ain’t that crazy about aggressive water snakes eating fish and frogs in my ponds.
