Common water snake. Non-venomous but normally pretty aggressive.

It's some species of water snake, hard to tell which based on how dark it is, but the face is the government away.

I like harmless snakes, but I would kill that one.
I ain’t that crazy about aggressive water snakes eating fish and frogs in my ponds.
