Will TXDOT ever fix Highway 22 in Hillsboro?

It’s beyond wretched. Been like this for years now. If you are heading into Hillsboro from west of town on 22, you’ll see and feel the bad road surfaces just as you pull through the first signal light by the gas stations and the hardware store. It gets much worse after crossing the railroad tracks. Just patching over it doesn’t help.

If they ever get the asphalt ground down to the base and resurface it, maybe finding and enforcing a different heavy haul route for big trucks and 18 wheelers will allow it to last longer.

    Sounds like HWY 285.

I think that sometimes you work to much.

Have had two different women tell me that. You might be on to something.

I had to think for just a moment. Came through there last year and yes that is so true. Was so glad to finally get into TX where at the least the highway was in better shape there.

In Hillsboro, it has gotten so bad that I now take a detour down side streets just to avoid the teeth-jarring experience.

I go thru Tx. panhandle when I go to Co. just to avoid our roads up here.

Better question...will they ever get the construction in Fort Worth finished?
