I have been seeing a fox under one of my bird feeders for the last couple of nights. Last night a coon and a fox were almost nose to nose eating sunflower seeds that the birds have kicked out on the ground below the feeder. I went out and set out a trailcam tonight to try to get a picture or two. I looked out the front window a little while ago and nothing. Then I turned on the back porch light and there was not one but two foxes under the back bird feeder. I went and grabbed the 30D and took some pictures through the window. Not great pictures as I had the aperture wide open, ISO cranked up and still the shutter stayed open forever. Anyway here is what I got.

Awesome. Use to see them all the time in my yard when I lived on Lake Conroe (Corinthian Point). Two years ago I came outside in my backyard (Denver) and had the biggest fox I have ever seen in the middle of my yard. He took one look at me and hightailed out of there. Jumped with little effort, up and over my 6 foot privacy fence.
