Prayers sent. Glad both bites were dry bites. He needs to continue to watch; infection can be worse than the venom.

I was not so lucky several years ago. One "wet bite" by a copperhead and it hurts like you can't imagine. Worst part was it took me a while to get to the hospital, and once there they tried to convince me I sprained my ankle. Several hours later they agree that I had been bitten, but it was too late for anti-venom...my body took care of it, but it has noticeably effected tendons and muscles.
