    Klipdrift Equivalent?

Well if you have ever been to South Africa for a hunt chances are good you've eaten Biltong and sipped on a Klipdrift and Cola. I have done both of these and I can tell you, its nice.

My boy Tyak persuaded a recent hunting group to bring back a bottle and we shared a drink the other night. Took me back.

So the question I have is, short of someone packing back a few bottles or going back myself....is there a similar tasting liquor in the states? Surely there is something out there that can come close to the flavor of a good Klipdrift and cola.

I've hunted South Africa a couple of times and never heard of Klipdrift and Cola. I do enjoy sipping some Amarula on occasion.

It’s like the jack and coke premix, But not the same.

It’s really good for premix and we put a serial dent in the stock in and around the dinokeng reserve.

Don’t know anything about the Klipdrift, but I have been to South Africa 4 times. I have tried biltong each time (the last 3 times was to be polite to the PH). That stuff is as nasty as it gets! I would rather eat javelina or sheep before having to chew on that nasty crap again!

Our PH bought maybe 4 different flavors. It was good, but I think we only ate one flavor completely. The rest went with the PH.
