    Quickfletch vs. Regular Fletching

What are yalls opinions on quickfletches vs. regular fletchings?
I just purchased a dozen bare shaft arrows and have been looking at all the different types of quickfletces that are available now. I like them because of the look due to them looking as if you have a wrap on your arrows and all that. Plus, there are several that match up with the colors of my bow assembly.
However, I am nervous about using them because I'm not sure how well they will hold up or if they won't have my arrows flying as accurately as they would if they were fletched the regular way with glue and using a fletching rig.

    What would y'all do?

    Thanks?

I switched to QuickFletch years ago and swore it was the best thing ever. And maybe it was. Now though, the "wrap" part always has bumps and looks bad. And it always seems like two vanes are just a tad bit closer together than the other one. I will be going back to using my Bitzenburger and fletching one at a time.

I used quickfletch for a couple of years and didn't have any issues with it other than it seemed like there would be tiny areas where a small air bubble would get stuck in there, did not notice any difference in flight. Switched to blazers (with out wraps) with blazer bond a few years back and have had zero issues, a field point will go thru the vane before it knocks it off.

What brand are you using? And what is blazer bond?
I've never used any of the quickfletch things before.

Blazer bond is a glue you use to put your fetching on. I use the same stuff hadn't had any problems.

I used them just for times when I would have maybe one or two arrows missing a glued fletching. The air bubbles were one thing I always saw and every now and then I would get one that did not seem to have gotten tight enough and over time it seemed it would slip down the arrow some. But they were ok for quick fixes when glueing wasn’t an option.

If I buy raw shafts I use quick fletch 2" twister..

Deep pot of almost boiling water and I do not seem to get air bubbles in mine..
