I still prefer to shop locally, and support the little guy trying to put his kid through college. Plus, when I hand over my money I want to walk out with it in my hand.

i agree, i owned a small business and do all the business i can with the small and local guys unless they are just really trying to shaft you on prices,,,, sure there are some thing i order on line but not very much,,,, in the last 18 months 1 pair of pants 1, 3 piece parka and a loading press because there were no local dealers for it,,,,,

I keep it for the prime video, music and books. Heck, we don't watch network TV anymore and only have cable for the Astros. Watching season 2 of Sneaky Pete right now and have a list of others waiting. Nice thing with prime is that they let you download shows so I fill up my Ipad before a trip and have that for air travel.
We also have HBO go that we access through a fire stick.

Worth it to us for the same reasons as others. I had an AMEX offer pop up for a $99 Amazon Prime credit about when mine was due so I got this year free.

I am debating not renewing it. Walmart has free 2day shipping and so does Shoprunner which is free with an Amex card. Amazon also has free shipping on orders over $35 even without Prime. The prime movie selection isn’t the greatest and we do not use the music

It's worth it to me. Just last week my daughter started acting scared of her baby sitter so Thursday night I ordered a nanny cam and had it set up by the time she got there Monday morning. Without it we would have never known she was eating our bluebell straight from the carton.

Totally worth it for us. We have several items set up on automatic order. We drink on the weekends and end up getting all sorts of cool stuff delivered throughout the week because of Prime. Plus the video stuff, all worth it for me.
