Ok, I know it's a longshot, but it never hurts to ask.
I'm looking for a cheap javelina hunt. I went on one last weekend and didn't recover the one I hit. I hit it high (and if they have the "void" spot, I'm thinking that must be where I hit it). We were able to track it several hundred yards and then I found where it laid under a cedar and rolled in the dirt, sealing both sides off! Not another drop of blood was found leading away from that spot. Lodging and meals are not needed, I can stay in a tent if there is not a motel within a reasonable distance. I live just South of
Ft. Worth and have no idea how far North they come up the I-35 corridor but the closer to home the better. Some time in March would probably be best for me, but beggars can't be choosers!
I'm open to any suggestions, I've got a score to settle!
