Hopefully he was in third gear and wearing a helmet and not just in second gear without a helmet. I never had a case of whiskey throttle till I rode in my first enduro and my bike looked like that about twenty times in the last ten miles except I was running through mesquites and not fences! Good times, glad hes ok.

Helmet? We didn't even have helmets in the 70's and 80's..

Good job on finding the bike and the rebuild.
I laughed at the yard moto video you posted.

Step your game up and get a Weedeater.
Make him work for the new parts post crash & fence repair.

Step your game up and get some Locktite. I have never seen a seat fall off like that.

The "only second gear without a helmet" is your call.

That fence needed to be replaced anyway.

Glad to read he wasn't hurt.

Get that boy some riding gear. He obviously likes to go fast . I don't have any youth gear left, I gave it all away when my nephews and nieces grew up or I would help you out.

Well did he get back on? My older son had a few wrecks when he got his first dirt bike. Find a big open field so he can get used to it.

I can see it now... He'll be telling this story one day...

Yeah, I was watching cartoons and I saw Wile E Coyote and he ran thru a fence... I said "hold my sippy cup and watch this".... BRAAP BRAAP BRAPP!!!

                            Glad he's ok!

My first "crash" was on a Honda 70 3-wheeler. Hadn't had it 5 minutes. I was driving around in circles getting used to it. My brother said "gas it" so I did. Next thing I knew I was headed towards the rear quarter panel of mom's station wagon... I didn't think about turning...

To say I'm surprised would be a lie. Glad nobody was hurt!

There are two types of riders.... Those that have been down, and those that are going to go down in the future. Looks like he got his out of the way early!
