If you have an older Ascend Kayak 10 or 12 footer I have an easy seat mod that literally takes like 10 min. And 12 dollars with no drilling. Only parts you will need are:
Big Lots 24” adjustable shower curtain rod- 2 if those @$6 dollars each
And a few big tie wraps or hose clamps
Attach the rods to bottom seat bar like above
And set seat up like this and you can adjust bars all the way out and there you go, cheap easy kayak seat mod. I just got back from fishing and this helped with back pain, I didn’t have any and the seat never moved an inch. Hope this will help someone, have a blessed day!!!!
