New Braunfels Help. Things to do with a 6 YO when it's raining...

We're leaving Friday morning for Snoops surprise birthday trip, and the rain may kill our river and Schlitterbahn plans. We're stayin up toward Canyon in some tepees, but not afraid to travel some. Hoping we can do SB Sunday.

    Caverns?

    Open to suggestions.....thanks, men.

I would definitely visit the caverns; should be interesting to a 6 year old and adults.

        Things to do

If you need to get out of the weather , try the downtown social. Booze, bowling and decent food.

McAdoo’s is the best seafood restaurant in town.

I don't know if you remember but I met you last year on your nb trip at schlitterbahn.

Spring loaded, the trampoline park, at the ski ranch would be fun.

I didn't know who you were then, but I'm glad I do now!

Trampoline park sounds like a good place for me to hurt myself!

We will if they'll let us, I seem to remember an age/height deal. My bride is looking into it. Snoop would love that.

Natural Bridge Caverns north of San Antonio. I think they still have the safari park next door.

you could always bring him out to the ranch in Wimberley and hunt for a pig. Got deer blinds that will keep you dry. Holler if you need anything while your in the area Dale. I am just down the road amigo.

                          Thanks for the ideas, y'all!

Awful nice of you to offer, Will. But I'm not sure more pig hunting is gonna fly with the Mrs.

The forecast is improving for SB, but those caverns sure look like fun...
