    Laser bore sight

Do Laser bore sights actually work?

Yes. Its about the same as eyeballing the bore for scope alignment. You can pinpoint a bit further.

It just another starting reference point for live fire zeroing.

which one do you have? one you stick in the chamber or one you stick in the end of your barrel?

The chamber ones work pretty good. But I have found just shooting one round at 25 yards and then adjusting it and then going back to 50 firing 1 round and then backing out to 100 to be quicker and easier than farting around with bore sighting them. Plus it gets my 2 foulers out of the way.

Mine works when I keep fresh batteries in it.
I use it for all of my firearms. Barrel type with various collets for different calibers. Not really good for short barreled pistols like a shield 9mm because barrel stem is too long for barrel. Puts me on the paper plate, then make your adjustments.
