                      Its a physical centering position for mental security. Also its actually an exercise...increases mobility of upperbody limbs and stretches the torso. I dont notice it much in white, black, brown Americans but I notice its very common in Asian folk...Indians and Chinese, Japanese especially.

                      Arms folded in front physically describes someone is in their secure place...not very open...possibly insecure with a situation. Physically closed.
