Whats yall thoughts on the 6.4, found a used F250 with 120,000 miles in excellent shape, all stock and clean car fax, Dont know much about these motors or drive train, thanks

A quick google search will tell you everything you need to know or even you tube best bet would be to go with a 6.7 or even a gone thru 6.0.

Please run as far away as you can!! Worst truck I ever owned... after messing with the 6.4 I almost made the switch to a Cummins!

Tuned and deleted they are beasts. Still don’t get great mileage tho.

My 2009 6.4 ,Deleted and tuned is a Beast. Never would have thought a Diesel would run as good as it does.

I bought a 6.4 with about 85K miles on it stock. Leaked from every seal you could think of. Coolant and oil, got rid of it as fast I could. Have a pro go over it with a fine tooth comb before committing if you really want it.

Best truck I’ve owned. 08 bought new and deleted around 85k after 2 injectors bobbled. Never left me stranded. Only repair after 10 years other than normal wear items. And having a dairy it pulled more than most can even imagine

Horrid mileage before deleting. After avg 14-15 mix and 22 long interstate driving. Sold it a few months ago. Still going strong


... that said. Due to age of the truck and price of any repairs I’d walk unless an absolute steal
