Square toes are just about all you can find on the shelf, so square toes it is. The last couple of years has convinced me that they are OK, I think I still prefer roper style but Square is "In" right now, sooo....

As for the designer pants, its getting harder and harder to find pants without fancy girl pockets. Here are my new work pants, they are FR pants provided by my company.

May have been me. Lightest boots I’ve ever worn just wish they would make them with a thinner more traditional sole. They are like wearing tennis shoes

I got a big foot. I like a square toe to fit those toes into.

Lace ups for me. For the record I prefer sneakers. Tough to swim in boots.

You might try having good heavy duty zipper sewn into a pair. We recently did this for my PawPaw cuz his feet were swollen. Not all boot repairers/makers/resolers/cobblers are equal.

People wear, and the market caters to what's in style. Square toes have been the deal for a few years. S9meday it will change again.

Oh yeah. If your boots are not made in Texas you are a poser. Lol.

At work I wear a moc toe wedge heel boot and when I am not at work, it is a western style toe. They are not pointy, but have a rounded toe with stitching design sewn in. I like have a tread in boot soles. Smooth leather soles are recipe for slipping. Maybe next pair I'll try a square toe.
