How Long for Dewberries/Blackberries to Ripen?

I picked my first batch this week and there are lots more on the vines, from small green to big red ones. Several patches I visited had only a few pale red ones and no ripe ones, so I'll be re-visiting those sites later.

Question: How long does it take them to go from red to ripe, and from green to ripe?

When mine are producing I can pick them about every other day. It only takes a couple of days to go from red to ripe.

Mine are still blooming and have a few small green berries. I have at least a couple of weeks before I will have any to pick.

I went and checked out my usual spot by a lake, all I saw were blooms and just a few very small green berries that were just starting. I"ll go check back next week.

Papa always said when we get these little cold fronts they was called a dewberry winter. Supposed to make them stay on the vine a little longer and have better sugar content. Reckon you gonna have to wait another week Dustoffer.
