    Moose set up

I got invited to Canada on a moose and elk hunt and I’m wondering if my current set up is good enough. I’m shooting up BowTech boss 31 1/2 inch drawl and 70 pounds and I’m shooting a Gold tip 300 arrow 50 grain insert 32 inches long with 100 grain Slick trick broadheads

Should would great. Don’t overthink it. I don’t know which trick or which goldtip you are shooting but I would consider a viper trick and an overall arrow weight of 425-450 grains. That being said moose aren’t too hard to kill as long as you don’t hit big bone in the shoulder.

With that draw length/weight and basically a 150 grain broad head I would guess you will be just fine as long as you put the arrow where you should

Never thought I would get the chance to hunt moose so never thought about my set up for
        something that big.

Kongrats to you sir. Looking at moose outfitters and brown bear outfitters earlier today. At minimum make those changes. Don't forget to add in some FOC.
