    Recommendation on hiking boots

Bought the below boots a few years ago for a hiking/hunt and CAN NOT get them to break in. Even wore them and submerged them then wore them until they dried all day and nothing. They are comfortable around camp, but hiking creates blisters in a few miles.

Need your input on a good pair or how to break these heavy things in.

I bought some of these a few weeks ago. Very comfortable out of the box.

Solomon Quest 4D II GTX, You're Welcome.

Superb Comfort out of the box, tough, reliable and long-lasting. The first month I had them, I put over 150 miles on them in Colorado. That was 2 years ago. I wear them almost daily for work. I am an Arborist and am in trees, on top of roofs and walk a ton of concrete each day. I am about to buy another pair, but have been waiting to find a good deal where I'll buy two.

Go try a bunch on. Monsolo, Solomon are just two I would try. I’d goto REI and find what you like then go order

If they are comfortable, it could be your socks. Maybe try a medium cushion blend like Darn Tough

I just use a low cut hiking shoe for comfort and heat. Vasque mantra GTX. Wide feet limit the options a little.

Asolo Fugitive GTX. Had mine 8 years with lots of hiking/backpacking/everyday wear. Will need to replace soon and I'll buy them again.
