            Neat lookin critters. Black and white bands around tail and black and white bands on head are what I find really strikingly handsome about westerns.

                  OP, judging from the apparent small size of that one, there's likely more in the area... be careful... Those little suckers are more apt to bite and go full on injection with their venom too!!

                          That’s what I’m afraid of. My wife’s neice’s family out near Midland has probably killled over 20 in the last 18months, all within 50 yards of their home.....
