harder. All it takes is making the most vocal hen mad and she will lead him right to you. Or catch a tom that’s roosted a little bit away from others and get between them! That’s usually money! Nothing like hearing and seeing the world wake up to the sound of gobbles! Second best sound in nature next to an elk bugle for me
      couldn't agree more!

I learned there is no perfect tree to lean against that does not have some odd growth, stob, bump or imperfection that immediately digs into one’s back or but! This is especially true when you strike a gobbler as you are cutting and running and you require a set up NOW!

                3. When turkey hunting I have the patience of a teenage girl.
                4. When You're not seeing anything, just like when duck hunting, walk out to the decoys to make an adjustment.............they'll come in and spot you before you can get back in the blind for sure.
                5. Longbows are a poor choice for a pop-up blind.
                6. Turkey are the smartest dumb animals I've ever hunted.....If they could smell, they'd be unkillable.
                7. Lastly, a fart last 45 minutes in pop-up blind when only one window is open.
Thanks funny right there I don't care who you are. And it's all true!!!

                    Rule #1

                    Same as duck hunting.

Basically your lying and pretending to be an animal your not. And just like lying the more you talk the more obvious it is your lying

Here is another.... if you get busted by a tom, there is no call in this world that will cause him to turn around as he walks out of your life. But you will try.

I learned that often when I'm totally camo'd out and feeling like my fancy calls are working awesome, I can't get the Toms in closer than about 50 yards. However, when I'm bank fishing with my noisy kids and wearing brightly colored clothing I can call one within 20 yards making absolutely terrible yelps with my mouth.

Agree with you , they sometimes can get get underestimated on hunters sometimes thinking they will be a easy hunt
I think their eyes are sometimes better than a whitetail doesn’t take much to spook them away
I always think success on turkey hunt can be directly related to persistence
                                Stay after them
