Shingles are a bad Mofo

Never had shingles but I hear it is aweful. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

I had shingles about five years ago, right shoulder down right arm. Hurt like all Hades, even my fingernails hurt. I was popping a major pain pill every two hours to lessen the pain. Finally went to the ER, shots and meds had me better in one day, ok in a week.

Current shots LESSEN your chances of an occurance, and if you get em it lessens the severity of the pain.

I had shingles under and side of my arm pit, very painful, hope yours heals soon.

Me too. I had them from the middle of my chest to the center of my back. My arm pit swelled up to the size of a softball. My DR.'s quote when I took off my shirt was "holy Sht!" He took some pics to share with his doctor friends.

My dad had them for almost 2 month internally before a dr finally figured out what he had.

they suck hard.

Shingles and kidney stones scare the poop outta me. Never had either and hope I never do. Prayers for all you folks suffering from this pain.
