Oh man, Randy what a punch to the gut! I will pray your grief and sorrow will be brief. On the other hand your testimony about him is reason to rejoice in itself! 91 years!, a strong Christian life, honorable service to our country, family man... sure sounds like a reward will be due him in Heaven, and to be reunited once again as one with his wife... Can't beat that!

Lord God, we thank you for this one that you gave so many good years. We thank You for his service to his country, his family and to You Lord. We ask You to comfort his family as they mourn his passing, but we rejoice in this homecoming and look forward to our own homecoming when we will dwell with You forever. Lord we especially lift up our brother Randy to You and we ask You to give him strength so that he can lean on You and be strength for the rest of the family. Make him a good steward of all his dad left behind for him to tend. Guide him and direct him in the center of Your will Lord, in the powerful name of Jesus Your Son and our Savior we pray, Amen.
