How/where to sell a diamond?

My wife lost a diamond stud earring. We have no use for the remaining diamond....we'd prefer to have the cash. The diamond is GIA certified and laser engraved, and I have the accompanying paperwork.

Besides a pawn shop, where should I try to sell this thing?

I don't know, maybe Craigslist, there is also websites that will give you more than a pawn shop
