tracking down an old car

I looking to track down my 1st car. Problem is I don't have anything with a vin on it. Is there any other way such as being able to see all cars they were ever titled in your name. Maybe old tickets I don't know if old tickets are ever truly gone from the system when they fall off your record. I don't mind the leg work if its possible.
Anyone ever hunt down an old car just to see what happened to it?

Have you tried your local county office where you would have registered it and paid for tags?

I still see my first truck around town occasionally. 86 chevy short bed. loved that truck.

Try contacting a private detective or someone connected to dmv records that will give it a try for you...

old insurance cards would have the VIN number on them , insurance agents might have old records .

This is what I was thinking. Call whoever you insured it with when you had it.
