Spent some time down at the ranch during the week of Thanksgiving. Had a family ride. It was fairly hot, deer weren’t moving much but fun regardless. Rut has started, I’ll be there tomorrow.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the ranch. Had some friends down between Christmas and New Years. Cold wet weather came in then we had clear and really cold mornings finally!!! Seeing lots of bucks and shot some quail! Our ranch manager’s dogs put a great track on a buck HouCav shot. Not one drop of blood and I thought no way we find him. Well ol Maya went to work and made it happen. Very impressive!! Had some young folks kill some super old bucks too!
