    The main thing to watch out for is certain years of those chevy were the worst rust buckets ever put on the road ever !! LOL .I remember as a kid seeing chevy that were only a few years old driving around with bed sides falling off LOL.
    The 70's were some good times for crummy made vehicles !

      I bought the DVD box set of The Fall Guy, and They cut the Bikini scene of Heather Thomas out of the opening of the show ,That was 90% of why I watched the show back in the day

          That's pretty cool. My first truck was a '71 Ford and it didn't have that tool box.

                    I have a '80 step-side with an in-line 6 and 3 on the tree I'm getting ready to restore to mostly original. Grandfather bought it new in '80 and I've had since I was 17. Gone down hill for the last 5 years and needs to be finished.

                        From what I can remember I think it was only available on the 8ft bed. I also remember them having a similar approach for storing the spare tire. It was a bigger door and the spare was stored vertically, in line with the bed side.
