2018 saltwater fishing thread

Planned on an evening of fishing/gigging with the girls but lightening ran us off about 15 mins after getting there. They caught about 5-6 sand trout each and the little one lost a solid spec at the boat.

Not bad. We rented a place on the creek for Labor Day weekend. Be nice if I could limit out and not bother taking the boat out. Lol

Where you gonna be? I think ours is rented already but if it cancels will be down there. Pretty much a guarantee limit at night under the lights this time of year but labor day boat traffic can stir creek pretty bad if I'm down there I'll shoot you a message

And Shane(Mexico) lost a sho nuff monster. One of the biggest trout I've ever seen. I'm sure it was a 30"+ fish.
