Landcut report - I spent the whole weekend in the landcut. There's was no croaker to be found in corpus so we used live shrimp and artificials. Bite was pretty slow but the fish we did catch were good fish 17"-24" trout. One 23" red lots of undersized reds found them tailing most in 19" range. Few black drum. Hundred of trout in the lights just never any good fish. All in all it was decent fishing better than being at work.

Gonna roll to East/West Matty tomorrow... I'll give updates... anybody been lately? Probably East in the AM and West in the PM.

Lots of fish, what's not to love about May? Water temps are perfect... wet wade is on and the days are beautiful with a 10 knot wind out of the S, SW. East was a grind but west was on FIRE!. Found fish within 5 minutes of putting the power pole down. Easy limits of trout and Reds...
