Anyone familiar with Lone Oak,TX?

Cute little downtown area. Am curious about the Buffalo Grill and grocery store, among other businesses.

Was that Diamond D Ranch owned by a celebrity? Looks like it’s up for auction.

I lived in Greenville for 12 years which is just north of Lone Oak. My wife taught elementary there from 1999-2004. Not too much too Lone Oak other than what you mentioned lol

X3 on the speed trap. I got busted. If you are going north on 69 toward Greenville just past the traffic light on the right is a car wash & a cop would sit there often just waiting

I was just going to say that I got a ticket there about 5:00 in the morning for not coming to a COMPLETE stop at the stop sign heading to Kansas!

edit: On second thought, it was Point where I got the ticket, just a little south of Lone Oak!

Lol. I almost added come to a complete stop in Point but he asked about Lone Oak!![emoji23]

I know 3 or 4 people with tickets for the same thing there. I do all but put it in park and walk around the vehicle before I leave that stop sign!

A SO deputy was sitting along 1567 east of 69 near an intersection not in any town where the blinking yellow light is at. Thought it was DPS at first. Wonder if it’s same agency that got y’all.

I got a ticket for 8 MPH over the limit 20 years ago local cop still works 69 regularly.

Yessir, definitely don't speed through there but Buffalo Grill is good groceries for sure, little donut shot before the light is legit as well.

Don't think I've ever had anything there I didn't like. Home made desserts are fantastic as well.
