Swyfft Insurance for Home - Anyone?

Anyone have experience with this company for their homeowners insurance ?
It’s substantially lower than other companies and was recommended by my broker. I can’t find much online.

They appear to be a young company. So, they are in the accumulation phase of their business. Insurance is a shared risk business, they open their doors in 2014...not much sharing now. But I think you would be ok to go ahead with it. Remember, save the savings for hunting.

Be careful with them. Their quote may look great but as I understand it usually lacks the more robust water damage coverages, maybe some other things too. I believe they can usually be added by endorsement, but it’s going to increase the cost too.

It was not much more to add on sewer back up etc.
Actually the coverage is better than what I have with Allstate but about $1500 less.
          Allstate has tons of exclusions.

            That's cool.

Allstate's policy is a named-peril policy. Basically they state what's covered and anything not specifically stated as being covered isn't. People should get an open-peril policy, which specifically states what's excluded (i.e. much broader coverage). Unfortunately for a lot of people they've drank too much Allstate Kool-Aid and think because of the name it's the end all, be all policy. It's not.

            And Allstate sucks anyway.
