KFC pieces have always been small. They were compared to Church's bigger pieces back in the day. It's still pretty good. I guess I am not picky about food.

I prefer Popeye's and Bush's.

The thing that doesn’t make me want to buy their chicken is the fact that is a big pile of greasy crap. I haven’t had my feathers ruffled by a KFC commercial. If you want good store bought fried chicken go to Wal-Mart.

While I am cool with science I think it’s more about cost savings and it’s across the board. Think about it Chili’s was a decent sit down place years ago ,Black eyed pea, pizza across the board. Now it’s how quick how cheap.
Meanwhile KFC has us talking about crap chicken.. one of the two times I had food poisoning. Daughter will not touch 12 years later.

All chicken pieces are getting smaller. The chicken restruants are selling pieces now and are wanting small chickens The companies raising the chickens want a 3.8-4.0 lb bird At 30 days old I can remember when it took 14 weeks to get a 4 lb bird. They are raised totally indoors and never see outside til they ride the truck to the processing plant Lights come on they eat, turn off lights, rest an hour later, lights on again eat and grow. Totally climate controlled houses. Yep they are totally pumped with hormones and vitamins. K f c chicken use to be the best until Popeyes, Bush's and Chicken Express came along.
