    Colorado in November

I’m looking for a nice cabin or place to stay in the mountains this November for our anniversary. I’m not dead set in Colorado, but would like some nice scenery where we could spend a few days.

It doesn’t have to be five star, but my wife’s not going to camp or rough it. Does anyone have any recommendations or experiences?

I can’t image going to CO with out an elk tag in early-mid Nov. Even if I didn’t have one, my wife would still hate me because I mind would be else where.

November is shoulder season for much of the Rocky Mountain West. If you aren’t hunting, there isn’t much skiing and it can be a might chilly on the trails. Good thing is you can stay in really nice places for cheap. There are a ton of cool little towns to stay at or even stay on the I-70 corridor and stay for cheap. Just depends on what you want to do.
