The second amendment is for 1 thing. To protect citizens from their government.

That's it's. Nothing to do with hunting or sporting etc. If you do that believe that the arguments can be made.

There should only be two options. Either leave guns alone or repeal the second amendment.

The 2nd amendment is a gift given to us by our forefathers to insure that in the event “We the People” are faced with a tyrannical government we can defend our rights given to us by our constitution. It has nothing to do with hunting and everything to do with protecting all our constitutional rights.

This is not to say we are at the point citizens need to take up arms but it is extremely naive to think our government will always have our best interest at heart especially given the escalation of socialist that has infiltrated the upper levels of our government.

I have friend that feel this way and I call them “misguided friends” lol :-) in all seriousness though sadly there will come a day when sides will need to be taken. It might be 100yrs from now but that day is definitely coming.

Real simple. All but a couple mass shootings since the 70s have all occurred in gun free zones for a reason.

Criminals do not obey laws and do not want a gun owner there.

No one hears about the mass shooting that occurred in San Antonio days after the theater shooting in Colorado.......that is because 2 CHL holders stopped it before it began.

Pretty much correct, they are friends of a friend. This liberal History teacher is spewing her views on her FB and tagging a friend, more in spite I suppose. My friend is full on 2nd amendment and has a LTC. She however does not like to argue. I however do like to argue, while the liberal is not on my friends list, i can share to my friends page and she is sure to read. I do not understand how a History teacher, same age as I am (50) can fall into the liberal philosophy. This is not how we were taught when we went to school. Being that she is a history teacher, I look forward to stirring the bucket. I needed more help with the second amendment, its creation and especially the links to verify. To date she has not blocked me, so it will be on here in a bit.

The suggestion to take them shooting is a valid suggestion. I will be looking into this and the cost associated. I know the history teacher would never go, but I bet others would.
