    Business Start Up Advice

Good morning GS - looking for some “real world” experience, advice, and recommendations. I’ve got a business idea that I’m looking at starting up:

    - I’m looking for someone around Central Texas that builds websites/what’s the going rate to build and host/admin?

    - For those that run their own businesses, what payment services do you use and why (I’m looking for online payment as well as a store front service or all in one system)? What can I expect to pay for service or transaction fees?

    - Lastly, I’m sure this is a long shot but I’m looking to lease a climate controlled warehouse at least 30k sq ft with at least 20-25Ft ceilings in the North Austin/Pflugerville/Round Rock area. Looking for open/unfinished space - just needs plenty of parking and restrooms. I’d be willing to take partial space in a larger building with the option to expand. I was hoping someone on here may have a lead?

All advice and or thoughts are welcome - I’ve been doing the corporate thing for 18 years and It’s time for me to grow some wings.

-I've only built one website and found somebody off indeed.com
    -N/A
-Create a free account on loopnet and you can search commercial listings. Would be happy to put you in touch with a commercial RE professional as well.

Good luck on the new venture!

The company I work for builds websites, depending on size and functionality (especially functionality) price can range from $5k-500k. We don’t usually take projects less than $25-30k. But most of our work are enterprise type websites or build on a Content Mangement System like Sitefinity.

As for payment, Stripe seems to be gaining some momentum and I believe that have a store front system that can be used with tablets/phones

        Thanks - don’t think I’ll need that scale/website support.
