Great weekend of turkey hunting out west. The birds are hotter than I have ever seen them. Absolutely incredible to watch them whip up on the poor jakes. Lance Smith and I doubled today with bows. Great way to end the day! Thanks to my ClayW for the use of his double bull this afternoon so I didn’t have to move mine. 10 1/8” beard..1-1/8” spurs. Lance’s was 9.5” beard 1-1/16” spurs. This **** archery turkey hunting is the ****.

Killed my third of the day and last bird of the season this evening. Had a pile of birds all around me and actually got to be selective on which one I shot. Hell of a season headed down south tomorrow evening to call for JP on marcilinas creek.....Comment
