Now that I am sitting here and just thinking of different scenarios, I don't think that none of the hospitals here in Laredo have antivenom at this time. The next close city with an option is San Antonio almost two and a half hours away.

We've seen active rattle bugs several times in the winter months at our lease in south Texas. Doesnt take much to get them moving. Glad you didnt get hit.
