Start with using a different shop to check balance and have them do a crisscross rotation. Also tell them you want to watch them balance so you can see for yourself if the tire spins true (not out of round). Sounds funny but more and more tires have this issue, including new ones.

Then if that doesn't fix it, try a major tune up.

      Sounds like bad windshield wipers.

you have a bad tire. Go to discount tire and have them check your tires. Had the same thing on my truck and it was a bad tire

I would check U joints and the carrier bearing

Sounds like a front tire balancing issue. Plus this is the cheapest fix. After you get them balanced, ask the shop, if it doesn't work.

I don't know if I can take it out of over drive like started above. It is an auto with just drive or auto shift. I drove it in 3, 4, and 5 gears and auto and it shakes in all.

Check the half shafts from the trans to the hubs for play in the cv joint

coil pack going out or spark plugs (both actually). Trust me. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. It's missing on acceleration.

Easy fix. Put your foot in it and only drive it above 60 mph.

Obviously the windshield wipers are bad with those shakes. I'd go ahead and check the passenger door handle while I was at it to make sure it isn't contributing factor.

Do you mean is 350. Worked on Lexus for 17 yrs. the IS we're bad about bent wheels. Bend really easy. Coils and spark plugs go out also. It will not idle differently because it has a system that balances engine knock out. I would first jack up each wheel and spin them. Inspect inside and outside for anything bent.

Howdy folks, long time lurker here. one time I bought tires from Discount Tire and as soon as I got on highway and up to around 60 mph, the car began to vibrating severely. I did go back to Discount Tire and they told me some bull about that I may have a wheel out of round and such. I went to a auto repair shop that I had a decent relationship with and had them take a look, since they also sold tires and did alignments. The owner told me that the tires were not beaded up on the rims, and that he wished that other tire stores would train those kids better or they are going to get someone killed. He called the Discount tire store and relayed the issue to the manager on duty about what the had found. I have not ever has this issue before or since, but I reckon it can happen and be misdiagnosed as another issue.

Well there is no LS 350, otherwise I could help you on drivetrain. You would have an ES 350 or an LS 430.
